Fundraising for CQ Shines | #EvenBetterLiving in CQ
We love the Central Queensland Region! It’s our backyard and we’re passionate about doing what we can to help the community have an #EvenBetterLiving. We’re not just here to watch; we’re rolling up our sleeves into making #EvenBetterLiving a reality in CQ. From hosting social events to supporting local sports teams and backing educational and economic ventures, we’re all in.
CQShines are on a mission to deliver hope through medical equipment and research, and improved care in our public hospitals and services in the community. There is a significant need for funding outside of government to enable a range of vital support programs that would otherwise not be available to patients and their families at local public hospitals and community health facilities in Central Queensland.
All of the funds raised by Jobs in Central Queensland will go towards the investment of the Tele-Health Solution for the Gladstone Hospital. This is an area that is extra close to our hearts as our Regional Manager, Wendy Hannan, had a personal experience when her son required serious medical attention at the Gladstone Hospital last year and the presence of this equipment would have greatly benefited the doctors who attended to him.
